Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — localStorage, session storage and tiny tracking pixels — do much the same job. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with data.

These make the Service work. They cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in or security, so they are set without asking for consent.

• Session and authentication — keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and signs you out when the session ends.
• Security — protects forms against cross-site request forgery and helps us spot automated abuse.
• Infrastructure — routes your requests to the right server and keeps the app stable under load.
• Your cookie choice — remembers what you decided here, so we do not ask again on every visit.

These remember small choices so the app feels the same each time you return — things like the last workspace you opened, a dismissed onboarding tip, or a table sort order. Turning them off does not break anything; it just makes the app forget.

Optional. These tell us which pages and features get used, where people get stuck, and which errors are happening — in aggregate, not to build a profile of you.

Where consent is required by law, we ask before setting them, and nothing about the product stops working if you decline.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, we do not run third-party retargeting pixels on the app, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.

Proposal links are part of the product, and view tracking is one of the features you are paying for. When a recipient opens a link, we record the visit — timestamp, coarse device and browser information, which options they selected, and whether they approved — and show it to the customer who sent it.

If you send proposals through MyProposer, you are the one telling your clients about this. Make sure your own privacy notice covers it.

• In MyProposer — where we show a cookie banner or a preferences control, you can change your analytics choice at any time from there.
• In your browser — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its privacy or site-settings menu, either for all sites or one at a time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in.
• Private windows — an incognito or private window clears cookies when you close it, which is a quick way to browse without leaving anything behind.

There is still no single industry standard for Do Not Track, so we do not claim to honour it. Where the law requires us to respect an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt-out of optional analytics for that browser.
