Acceptable Use

Short version: use MyProposer to win honest work. This page spells out the rest — what is off limits, why, and what happens if it is ignored.

Last updated: July 2026

Why this policy exists

MyProposer sends email from your address, hosts links your clients open, and captures legally meaningful approvals. That only works if the platform stays trustworthy — so there are limits on what it can be used for.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including anyone you invite into your account.

Content you may not create or send

Do not use MyProposer to create, store, send or link to content that:

  • is illegal where you are, where we operate, or where your recipient is;
  • infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, trade secret or other rights, including passing off another firm’s work as your own;
  • is deceptive — fake credentials, invented case studies, impersonated companies, or pricing designed to mislead;
  • promotes hate, harassment, violence or discrimination, or is sexually explicit or exploitative;
  • contains malware, exploits, or links intended to phish credentials or payment details;
  • discloses someone’s personal data without a lawful basis, or exposes sensitive categories of data the Service is not designed to hold — health records, government identifiers, or full payment card numbers.

Things you may not do to the Service

  • Probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission, or try to get around authentication, rate limits or plan limits.
  • Access another customer’s account or data, including by guessing or enumerating proposal links.
  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, or use automation in a way that degrades it for other people.
  • Reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build or benchmark a competing product.
  • Resell, sublicense or operate the Service on behalf of third parties as a bureau service, unless we have agreed that in writing.
  • Share one login across a team, or create multiple accounts, in order to avoid plan limits or repeat the free trial.
  • Run load or stress tests without arranging it with us first.

Email and anti-spam

When you connect a mailbox, messages go out under your name and your domain’s reputation. Keep it clean:

  • Only send to people who expect to hear from you — a client, a prospect who asked, or someone with whom you have a genuine business relationship.
  • Never send unsolicited bulk email, and never use purchased or scraped lists.
  • Use accurate sender names, reply-to addresses and subject lines.
  • Honour opt-outs promptly, and follow the marketing rules that apply to you.
  • Do not use MyProposer to send content unrelated to proposals, quotes, invoices and the work around them.

Spam complaints put every customer’s deliverability at risk. We treat them seriously and act quickly.

Fair use of AI drafting

The AI is there to get you past a blank page. It is not a licence to generate content you could not lawfully write yourself.

  • Do not prompt it to produce unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or deliberately misleading material.
  • Do not paste credentials, payment card numbers or data you have no right to process.
  • Review every draft before it goes out. Models make mistakes, and the commitments in a proposal are yours.
  • Do not use the feature to generate bulk content at a volume unrelated to running your own business.

Fair use of plan limits

Every plan carries published limits — documents and AI generations per 30 days, and live links at once — and an account is meant to be used by one business. If usage is so far outside normal that it threatens performance or cost for everyone else, we will get in touch and work out a sensible arrangement before taking any action.

Reporting a security issue

If you find a vulnerability, tell us before you tell anyone else. Do not access, modify or exfiltrate data that is not yours, do not degrade the Service while testing, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue. Report it through our contact page — good-faith research reported this way is welcome.

Reporting abuse

If you received a proposal, quote or invoice through MyProposer that looks like spam, fraud or impersonation, let us know. Include the link and, if you can, the message you received. We investigate every report.

How we enforce this

Our response is proportionate to what happened. Depending on the situation, we may remove content, disable a link, rate-limit or pause sending, suspend an account, or terminate it.

For anything that is not urgent, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. For active harm — phishing, malware, an ongoing attack, or a legal obligation — we act immediately and explain afterwards. Enforcement decisions can be appealed by contacting us.
